GUADA BAS: Owner/Instructor

Guada danced professionally for twelve years with the The Phillipine Ballet Theatre as their principal dancer. She has taught ballet and jazz to children and adults all over the world at professional as well as beginning levels. She is a certified Pilates trainer, and has a vast array of experience in fitness training having worked with everyday individuals as well as Olympians. She is also a TRX and GYROTONIC® Certified Teacher.  Guada is the proud mother of Jude, and is dedicated to bringing movement and fun to those around her.


HOLLY BENGE: Owner/Instructor

Holly has experienced first-hand the enormous physical changes and emotional benefits of GYROTONIC® and movement based training. She is a certified teacher in both disciplines and feels privileged to share their gifts with her students. In addition, she has a personal training certification from The Cooper Institute and is certified in both TRX and MadDog Spinning.  Holly has two adult children and has been a proud member of the Maplewood community for over 20 years.

Bethany received an M.S. degree in dance and Physical Education from Indiana University where she also danced in the Bill Evans Dance Company. Bethany performed in CATS on Broadway as well as in the National Tour and German companies. She has worked on numerous Broadway shows but finds the most fulfillment directing the musicals at Columbia High School. When she’s not at Studio 509, Bethany works as a children’s casting director and baby wrangler for Huggies. She is the mom to three great kids and excited to bring these wonderful classes to the studio and the community! She is a GYROTONIC®  and TRX certified teacher



JJ received her certification to teach dance at Northern Illinois University.  She served as Director and Choreographer of De La Cru Hip Hop Dance Team in Glenview, IL.  She has taught intermediate and advanced hip hop classes, along with choreographing performances for hip-hop and flamenco festivals.  In addition, JJ is certified teach group exercise and is passionate about dance and fitness because of the personal confidence, strength, and fun it brings. She has two adorable kids and a husband that keep her on her toes.

Steph has been dancing and performing since she was a girl.  Ballet, tap, jazz, and gymnastics were her earliest passions and gave her a love of the artistry of movement and fitness. She’s thrilled to share this passion to both kids and adults in our group classes.  Steph is certified in TRX and group fitness instruction.  She is active in the Maplewood community where she lives with her two daughters and husband.

Nikki was a professional musical theatre performer on and off Broadway for over 25 years. She feels blessed to share her love of dance, fitness and performance with the Studio 509 family.  Nikki is certified in TRX , group fitness instruction and personal training. She has three daughters, who along with her husband Jon are a constant support of all that is Nikki.

Allyson Weiss grew up in New Jersey and currently lives in Short Hills with her two children. She graduated with a BA in Dance from the University of Maryland. After college, she moved to NYC and danced with a few small companies. Allyson then worked as a personal trainer at the Sports Club/LA and Equinox when she lived both in NYC and Los Angeles. “I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the Studio 509 community. The people here are, simply, the best!!
